I've always said that Gans' show was like Keller's, but good. Lol that's harsh, Keller's talented and I give him credit, but Gans is just so much more palatable for me. I've always enjoyed it every time I've seen him play.
I recorded a fair amount of music at this festival, my last at Camp Zoe, but I missed a lot of Friday's music and did not get to hear Gans' set, thank you for sharing, mystery archivist...

David Gans is amazing...He's a one-man jam band for the first generation...and the next.
I can't help but compare him to Keller considering he uses similar tools (loops, etc). The difference comes in the overall sound. Gans' looping sounds more natural...quite frankly it sounds like he's not alone onstage. He's able to seemlessly layer his sounds to create an organic bliss of acoustics and the like. It's truly something to be heard...and then seen. I can't believe he isn't more well known for his playing ability. The guy's fucking incredible. Thanks for the upload!
Close your eyes...
Gans is not alone...
